Visibility
A silty 20+ feet, 15 feet in the shallows (outgoing tide)

Great dive at Day Island wall between bursts of wind going through the narrows. The slack estimate was spot on - though slack only lasted a couple of minutes and it was relatively stiff current on either side. Even a little downwelling on the south wall! DIW is not the showstopper of a sight that it used to be but I did see three pairs of wolf eels and one included the largest bright orange wolfie I've ever seen. There was one juvenile GPO out on the wall. Strangely, it almost looks like the bull kelp forest is growing up on the North Wall. It's thick!

Entered water at 0910hrs. Visibility was hazy. Water temp was 49 degrees. Went in on the south end to about 100 feet and went north. First time being there so nice to have a knowledgeable buddy (Thanks Niels). Saw several wolf eels including one very big one, and one active octopus

Very hazy but enjoyable dive on the wall - probably 4 large wolf eels in total. Lots of logs in the water!
