Dive report for 9/14/25

20 feet, 15 feet in the shallows
Second dive on the inside of bay. Better than expected, though had low expectations. Bacterial mats, tons of cross jellies and couple small tail top jellies, two vermillion rockfish, couple scaled crabs, sulfur sponge and mushroom tunicates, gpo in den.

A hazy 20+ feet, 10-15 feet in the shallows (incoming tide)
We were camped at Salt Creek for the weekend and on Sat the surge and waves were just too much for my daughter to wanna deal with, so we cruised over to the hook. Nice water and fun sightings. Greenlings, lings and several nuddies. Quite a few jellies and 2 very playful harbor seals. Not as much structure as I had hoped but it was still fun and we had given up hopes of diving salt creek so we were happy.
