Lots of Nudibranchs and sculpins, mainly Tritonia and Montereys. Also a very large adult sunflower seastar!

A silty 10 feet, <5 feet in the shallows (outgoing tide)

springtime viz, but still lots to see. There were a number of slugs including an Ancula gibbosa, as well as a GPO and a juvenile sunflower Seastar.

A silty 10-15 feet, 10 feet in the shallows (outgoing tide)

It was good to have just plain β€˜bad’ viz as opposed to β€˜awful’ viz. Not as many slugs this year- there were a couple of nobles, a couple of northern leopards, a three-lined and a Hermissenda. All of the Tritonia that we used to see here are gone. The large GPO that lived here is also gone. The huge three-foot wide pink star has moved upslope from the wall a bit, but there were at least half a dozen other giant pinks, much smaller though.
