PA-D3 Barge is a dive site in Lake Washington . One of the many barge / scow wrecks scattered across the lake
Treat as a technical / historic wreck.
Access: Boat access; typically launched from Magnuson Park in Sand Point.
Marine life: Lake Washington wrecks host limited freshwater life -- crayfish, perch, small clusters of freshwater invertebrates.
Conditions: Depth commonly 100+ ft -- treat as technical / advanced.
Hazards: Very poor viz on the lake bottom -- prone to silt out. Divers report being a foot away and still missing a target. Old debris and cables; a cutting tool is essential.
