A clear 20+ feet, 40+ feet in the shallows (high tide)
Wow! I dove off Bremerton right next to the Battle Ship “Turner Joy”. It was epic! I’ve never seen so much ‘bio-chatter”. ( I’m a bottle diver and living things usually distract). I was over joyed to see dozens of Picnapodia (sunflower sea stars). They were everywhere. I thought they were basically extinct? The bright orange and purple sea stars were popping! The purple crabs were eating the plume worms down to the nubbins. The sea cucumbers were on fire
and very active!! I might throw away my bottle bag and buy a camera. I’m inspired to see so much life outside a marina. What are those people dumping? Steroids?
