Reef Check Surveys at Dallas Banks on the NW side of Protection Island - site is less than 25 feet but clear water following a calm morning, persisting throughout early afternoon 15kt wind, 1-2ft windwave chop/swell. DENSE undestory kelp, invertebrates present but not without effectively swimming in/under the understory layer while counting. Insightful for seeing how conditions around the Miller peninsula/PT behave when wind increases.
