Visibility: A snowy 15-20 feet (incoming tide)

Nice scooter dive with 10 divers, 8 checking out Ft. Ward for the first time. Rocky structure is off the left of the boat ramp in the shallows (8-20’ or so). This is where we found a few lumpsuckers in the sugar kelp leaves and sea lettuce. It was decent visibility and current plan was reasonable. Current slacked off significantly in the shallows, but was noticeable past 2’ of depth.

Took the scooters out for a spin. Not a whole lot to see, scattered nudis, a couple moon jellies, some gunnels, a huge buffalo sculpin was probably the most notable sight. Either we mistimed the entry or the current predictions were off as we has a gentle easterly current to start and a stronger easterly current to finish, but was still worth the trip.
