Dive planning for Henderson Point
Site Briefing

By Ryan Swan (Reviewed 01/11/26)
Henderson is a calm, structured dive with shelves and ravines, and it is loaded with little stories. Expect octopus dens, tube dwelling anemones, feather stars, shrimp, plus lingcod and rockfish cruising the edges. It is a great place to slow down and actually look. Viz during the plankton blooms can be 5 ft, but when it clears in the winter you can expect 100 ft of viz.
⚠️ Before diving at Henderson Point, always check the site-specific wind/wave forecast, tide/currents, and recent reports (latest: Jun 1, 2026) !
