First time diving Saanich Inlet. 70ft vis below 40ft deep. Impressive structure with walls, boulders, sloped sand. Fun with the great vis. Not a lot of life. A few rockfish, one GPO, two boot sponges (one with a sea spider), baitball of small herring, interesting sculpins like you find in Hood Canal (spotfin & fringed), Thornback sculpin (new species for me), lightbulb ascidians, large bristle tunicates and glassy tunicates with more flaps on them than in Washington.
