Our first time on this cool artificial reef. Though it's been down for quite a while, it does not have as much life on it as the Nanaimo wrecks. It also sits on a slope and a bit on its side which could be disorienting if the viz were not as good as it was for us today. The site is known to have large lings and octos though we didn't see them. Saw some a ps king crab and some nice rockfish though!
A Mackenzie-class destroyer sunk in 1996 near Maud Island. It rests in about 120 feet of water with a list to port. It is a fantastic artificial reef covered in invertebrate life.
