Tropical blue vis, sunny, surface was clear from 50ft. 9-11am perfect current timing for slack before ebb (although it was a low tide). This is an amazing dive.
Located at the mouth of the Hoko River, this reef features massive structures with canyons and valleys rising from deep water. It is a rockfish protected zone. The site is very exposed and current-sensitive. Note: I've not figured out how to shore dive this without a really long walk, scooter or boat. It looks not passable from the campground from what I could tell!
