Visibility: A muddy <5 feet

I would not recommend this as a dive location but since it's not listed, why not. On Sunday we were washing the Salt off the boat at Lake Sawyer. In the center of the lake in around 50ffw on side scan I picked up what appeared to be an odd object that was shaped like boat hull. We already had our dive gear, so why not. We splashed in and went down to inspect. At 52ffw we found an old ski boat with a missing outboard motor. I have no idea if someone went down to recover the motor but the boat was significantly buried in mud and the only way we found it was by following the tops of weeds until there was a patch missing around 10 feet wide and 10 feet long. We descended down on that spot and found it. The only cool thing to note was that there was a nice sized Walleye hunkered down in the center of the boat that got spooked and took off as we approached. I had heard there are walleye in this lake but never confirmed it... There are. Would not recommend or likely go back to check it out again but it gave our gear a proper rinsing.
