Super awesome wall. Anemones of different varieties from top to bottom (what we could see). Up on the shoulder of the wall was a ton of strawberry anemones. Very colorful and full of nudibranch as well. First time seeing a Spanish shawl and they are super pretty.
Excellent dives with Keith Clements and Veronika Nagy. Great visibility at Long Island and Deadman Island aka Flying Scallop City. Red Irish lords, Puget Sound King Crab, Candy Stripe, flying scallops, Nudis…Cockerells Dorid, Diamondbacks, Yellow Margins, San Diego Dorid, Clown Nudis, and a harbor seal eating and octo arm at the surface. 🥲 We hope the octo lives to grow another. Thank you Keith for the amazing dive day!

“There are supermodels... underwear models... and then there are ‘under water’ supermodels. Meet Scuba Jess, the supermodel of the underwater world, gazing at a Puget Sound king crab at Long Island West Wall in the San Juan Islands off The Butt Dive Boat. She rocks it on the runway—and so did this king crab!” – photo and caption by Stephanie Collins-Russell.
