Decaying structure... These are getting enveloped into the silt and sludge. They are little more than the I-Beams on the SE side of Cove 2. Perhaps less pronounced. I did however create a lasting bond with a small kelp greenling who followed us for a few feet. I wonder if it will remember us next year, because we won't be back in this one. A muddy 10 feet, <5 feet in the shallows (low tide)
After 2 @ KVI we blasted to Maury. Wish we did KVI again. I thought I saw a six gill tail at 80 well after the tail of the wreck but it was probably a dog fish... Not sure as the water was poor vis and I never saw it again. No octos and a lackluster end to the day. Should have done it in reverse.
