Decaying structure... These are getting enveloped into the silt and sludge. They are little more than the I-Beams on the SE side of Cove 2. Perhaps less pronounced. I did however create a lasting bond with a small kelp greenling who followed us for a few feet. I wonder if it will remember us next year, because we won't be back in this one. Wish we had crossed this one off earlier in the year during better vis... PS no sightings of Frasericus Jameseus

A muddy 10 feet, <5 feet in the shallows (low tide)

After 2 @ KVI we blasted to Maury. Wish we did KVI again. I thought I saw a six gill tail at 80 well after the tail of the wreck but it was probably a dog fish... Not sure as the water was poor vis and I never saw it again. No octos and a lackluster end to the day. Should have done it in reverse.
