Visibility
A hazy 20 feet, 5-10 feet in the shallows (high tide)

Milky vis due to winds and turbulence, but still good. Lots of rocks and critters to the NE, mainly urchins. Most of the seasonal bull kelp is gone but it's still a great dive.

Visibility
A hazy 15 feet, <5 feet in the shallows (high tide)

Reef Check survey training dive. Pretty good conditions once we swam out ~100 yards. Pretty calm current from 8am-2pm, though the long swims back were a bit of a chore at times. Tons of understory kelp, woody kelp, and a good amount of young bull kelp about. Several bunches of feather boa kelp reaching up to the surface near the big rocks.

We've started taking scooters to the area (makes the journey more fun). Current predictions are still sketchy for us, but so far diving from North Beach at the end of a flood and returning on an ebb is kinda working. Do you have any suggestions for timing the currents?
