Dive planning for Ogden Point
Site Briefing

By Ryan Swan (Reviewed 01/11/26)
A massive breakwater of stacked granite blocks. Houses octopus, wolf eels, fish-eating anemones and endless macro life. Gooseneck barnacles grow here in the shallows. Currents can be present at the tip.
You can start in kelp, swim the boulders, then drop into sections packed with plumose anemones and some of the biggest lingcods on the island. It is close to town, easy to repeat, and it always has something going on.
⚠️ Before diving at Ogden Point, always check the site-specific wind/wave forecast, tide/currents, and recent reports (latest: Jun 29, 2026) !
