Two dives here, amazing wall dive and shore accessible. Highlights of the 2 dives: 6 small yelloweye rockfish, 3 tigers, 7 decorated warbonnets (6 sitting in boot sponges), massive cloud sponges @ 120ft, pink hydrocoral, grey puffball sponges, yellow branching sponges, wall covered in plumose and crimson anemones. The main part of the wall isn't too long, could easily cover it a few times with scooter. Couldn't see the bottom of the main section from 120ft deep. Also my first time seeing cookie sea stars.
Wanted to hit the best shore dives around Nanaimo. Orlebar not super slack dependent, but recommended to dive near high tide for less current and easier entry. There was a mild current dive 1 and not much at all dive 2. I had dpv + big steel tanks.
