Outside Grouse search

Dozens of abalone in the shallows! Huge mating mottled stars. Basket bryozoans! Wolfies, cabbies. Colorful and healthy reef, Puget sound king crabs, sponges and strawberry anemones all over. Really nice decorator crabs, some with strawberry anemones on them!

Beautiful dive on the outside of grouse and our first dives in Campbell river for me and Natalia. The reef is just carpeted with strawberry anemones and sponges which contrasted nicely with the clear blue water. We had a great time with Oceanfix. There were a few red irish lords and lingcod but not much more than incredible invert life!! The currents were going in every direction all at once
