Dive report for 9/12/25
- Visibility
- A hazy 20+ feet, 10 feet in the shallows (low tide)
As usual, LOTS of lingcod and rockfish. I have 30 critters in my REEF report (REEF.org). We did the center and south reefs. No GPO's sighted, but a couple middens were seen. We also saw 3 ratfish, a couple decorated warbonnets and some gunnels.
Visibility was good at depth and decreased as we worked our way up the cobble at the south reef.
Dive report for 9/1/25

- Visibility
- A silty 5-10 feet in the shallows (incoming tide)
Freediving for crabs off the beach. Very slight current with the rising tide, and viz was clear enough once you dove down but definitely not very broad.
Some schools of needle fish and perch hanging about, occasional flounder, and very few crabs on the last day of the season. Found one freshly-dead pink salmon lying in the grass
