Visibility
A chunky 5-10 feet, <5 feet in the shallows (high tide)

Just terrible visibility. An honest 5ft vis from the surface down to 60ft. Then between 60ft-80ft “opened” up to 10ft.

Dive report for 4/26/26

Profile Pic
Visibility
A muddy 15 feet, <5 feet in the shallows (incoming tide)

First dive mid-exchange on a four-ft flood, the second near high slack. Substantial current near surface on first dive. Even during the second dive, it made sense to work with the current where the boulder piles funnel it. Vis near pea-soup at surface, 12 ft at the bottom on first dive. Vis at bottom opened up to 15 on the second. 49F. A Pygmy Poacher on the half-gaper-shell. In the cobble, Crescent Gunnels way back in their holes. A couple of cooperative Padded Sculpins, though still wedged in their cracks. Nose-to-nose with a ling before I saw it. Tentacles of orange sea cucumbers carpeting the cobble pile at the upper end.
