Dive report for 7/5/26

- Visibility
- A hazy 20 feet, 10 feet in the shallows (outgoing tide)
Diving along the sunken boats and the pipeline on an outgoing ebb, we saw numerous striped and pink nudi, kelp crab, hermit crab, cabezon, sculpin, needle fish, and even a couple perch(?) hanging by the pipe. Current was mild but it was noticeable, and bottom temp was 56F. It was a great weekend for diving the PNW.
Also, think it's important to acknowledge Haley Hicks' dive related death on 6/26/26 after being found unresponsive in the water at Sunnyside Beach and transported to the hospital. Rest in peace and best regards to his family and friends - remember to take dive safety seriously.
