Dive report for 1/1/26
By Nate Cermak
- Visibility
- A hazy 15-20 feet, 10-15 feet in the shallows
We opted for weather watch due to polar plunging crowds at junkyard.
Decent vis, but less life than the last time I was here (could just be the season though). Tons of sea spiders, many with eggs, and two beautiful active red octos.

In terms of dive planning, I treat it the same way as alki pipeline or lincoln -- its not particularly protected so would recommend diving around slacks or on mild exchanges.

One stubby squid, a deep blade shrimp. Brief visit by a curious sea lion. Vis was better than expected but still not great.

Woah! I've never heard of this site before. A quick Google search isn't pulling much up either in terms of dive maps and entrance conditions - any chance you could share more info on how to dive here?
