Fantastic dive! My first dive since moving to Vancouver from Seattle. Probably the highest sea star diversity I have ever seen. 9 species of sea star I think. Crinoids, sea pens, amazing diversity of other invertebrates as well. Many large lingcod. The star of the show was many healthy Cloud Sponges!! My first time seeing them. As shallow as 80 feet. Coming up into the shallows felt like being in a PNW aquarium exhibit with all the shiner and striped surfperch. Close to 30 foot visibility below 20 feet, maybe even more. Very pleasantly surprised for this time of year.
