For me barry island was the highlight of the trip - bubblegum coral (usually a deep water gorgonian) at 70 ft, lots of playful stellar sea lions, and aggregation anemones in the shallows
Epic dive at Barry Island
Gregorians, basket stars, sea lions, raspberry hydroids . To the north I found some alpine meadow like areas of color. The shallows were incredible as always. It was my fourth time at the site, and it was the least surge so I really got to enjoy the shallows. The water line was new to me with beautiful proliferating anemones growing on large muscles, reminiscent of Duncan Rock.
