Dive report for 10/13/24
- Visibility
- 30+ feet, 20+ feet in the shallows
A real adventure dive. Not much current, moderate surge. Bat star, china and blue rockfish, several red soft corals, very orange finger sponges, ps king crab, birds swimming. No gorgonians sadly. Not a ton of fish and rocky fingers were more barren than I expected.
Dive report for 8/15/24
- Visibility
- A hazy 10 feet
Report from Fritz Batson:
Dove box canyon 8/15 - good structure and some kelp but lots and lots of urchins. We dropped near the rock on the outside edge of the cove and went along the side of the rock and walls between the rocks and the cliffs. Lots of urchins, some kelp and not much else. This used to be a very nice dive.
