Visibility
A chunky 5 feet (outgoing tide)

We went in two hours before low water. On the wall, detrital particulates hung in space like swarms of TIE fighters, ready to parry the beam from my strobe. Rafts of Ulva (sea lettuce) drifted through the gloom much as green Death Stars, primed to obliterate a camera shot, even envelop a hapless lens.

Blackbelly Eelpouts held the deep in the near-black of the northern slope below 90 ft. Northern Ronquils preferred their holes in the wall. At 80 ft, a red Crescent Gunnel savagely tore chunks from its prize, pilfered from a crab's feast. Nearby, a large Roughback Sculpin - eight inches of stillness and intent - kept its post on a ledge.

Dive report for 6/2/26

Visibility
A silty 5-10 feet, <5 feet in the shallows (outgoing tide)

Outgoing tide approaching low slack, still running when we exited. The murk cleared to 8 ft of vis in the 40-50 ft range. 54 - 50F.

Several Brown Rockfish, one hugely gravid. Flatfish seem to delight in being ledgefish on the wall here, this time an English Sole. Eelgrass was still accessible at low tide, and the light penetration boosts visibility to 4 ft or so.
