Dive report for 10/16/22
- Visibility
- A hazy 20+ feet, 15-20 feet in the shallows
Took advantage of a super slack to dive the point at Marrowstone, in Ft. Flagler. This is highly exposed to the straits and rarely calm; gotta do it while you can -- best with scooters. Great vis.
Rocky bottom, occasional boulders. Wolf eels hiding under the boulders, barnacles like big russet potatoes. Schools of sand lances in the shallows. Occasional scallops, lots of sea stars with hardly any sign of wasting.
