North Puget Sound Scuba Diving Guide

Use this page to learn more about diving in North Puget Sound. North Puget Sound can have significant current, so must be planned carefully. Many shore divers in the region come for Keystone Jetty on Whidbey Island — a current-sensitive breakwater dive in Fort Casey State Park and one of the most popular slack-dependent shore dives in the Pacific Northwest. Deception Pass offers an advanced seascape on select slack days, and Point Hudson in Port Townsend is another excellent shore dive in the area. Most shore sites in North Puget Sound are highly current-sensitive. Be sure to check the tides and currents before you go.
