Sail RockNeah Bay

Visibility: 15-20 feet

Report from Fritz Batson: We dove another point further out on the reef extending out from sail rock - amazing amounts of fish life. Probably thousands of black and blue Rockfish, lots of china, tiger and yellow tail mixed in with them the entire dive. Big ling cod out swimming among them with a few rock greenling. Less invert life on the rocks here but so much fish life it was remarkable. Caught a strong drift North side of the finger (current was flooding if I remember right and hit the cross channel finger pushing us out north - much further than we wanted). An underwater eddy from the flood running into the ridge seemed to have formed and was pushing us pretty hard out north into the straits. We travelled pretty far and turned around when reaching what appeared to be the end of the finger and where we saw a brown wall of bad vis that reached from the surface to the bottom at that point. We almost didn't make it back to the boat.
