Visibility: A chunky 10-15 feet, 15-20 feet in the shallows (incoming tide)

Visibility was interesting! the algae layer was around 30' deep- not surface. Vis got down to 2' (at best) for a short distance- about a 1 minute scoot. Above it the vis was good- 15-20' and then it deteriorated quickly into the algae layer and then picked back up quickly as well into a night dive in the afternoon on the sea whips. Jellies were out in force: water jellies were the most common. sea gooseberry, lobed sea gooseberry, comb jelly, moon jelly, fried egg jelly were also there along with one or two others. small Hermissenda opalescence were all over the eel grass bed along with a stash of chunky Tritonia festivias in the sea whips with some medium size sunflower stars.
