Long gear haul to third beach. Calm ocean and mild current. Spectacular rockfish variety. Blue, deacon, black, quillback, Puget sound, china, vermillion, canary, tiger, copper, yelloweye, and a new species for me of small schooling rockfish I need to look up. Was looking for rumored rosy rockfish with no luck. Lots of yellow rough ball sponges, nipple sponge, tennis ball sponge. One gpo and one wolf eel. Sand dollars and some unusual snail species in the shallow sand off the beach. Must have been 30+ each of canary and tiger rockfish, they were everywhere!
