Dive report for 6/16/26
- Visibility
- <5 feet, 5 feet in the shallows
Another murky dive at Marine Park. Weather was nice though, and I got the clearest view of a GPO that I think I've ever gotten here. It was up by the railroad tie at 10'. Also saw crescent and saddleback gunnels, a buffalo sculpin, and one spiny pink star down on the pipe.
Dive report for 1/28/26
- Visibility
- 5-10 feet
Unusually good viz today: no recent rain. I saw at least a dozen bay pipefish over the course of two dives. Highlight of the dives was a GPO underneath the big pipe at 37'. I haven't seen one in the park in months. There were also several white-lined dironas, a pygmy poacher, and a sturgeon poacher. I reported 19 species on my REEF survey from the second dive!
